LURCH magazine is a graphic design and contemporary art publication that highlights emerging artists from Portland and the broader Pacific Northwest creative communities.
Founded in 2022 by Emma Wiseman and Anna Volk, LURCH began as a project aimed at bringing together different corners of Portland’s arts communities.
Each issue is built around an open-ended theme and features a vibrant and wide range of contributors.
From punk poets and sappy chapbook writers to experimental musicians, film photographers, designers, and sculptors, LURCH’s goal is to provide space for likeminded individuals to share their work.
In addition to publishing our magazine, we host art events, and shows, as well as actively engage in Portland’s zine and arts community.
