For Issue 04, we invited artists and writers to respond to the theme BITE. This issue explores the many meanings the word can take on—ranging from food and flavor to language, instinct, sensation, and attitude. Contributors considered topics like cravings, sharp remarks, emotional reactions, moments that linger, and experiences that leave a lasting impression.
We received submissions from 96 people; including poetry, photography, illustration, short stories, and essays. Each piece approaches the theme from a unique angle, showcasing the wide range of interpretations that a single word can spark.
